Martin has over 25 years’ experience successfully advising and leading businesses through transformation from MBO’s, MBI’s and Corporate acquisition, specifically in the UK door, window industry and wider building product sectors; having gained a wealth of practical experience from both the business seller and buyer perspectives; his focus areas have been driven by the unique dynamic of each business he has worked with.
He has enabled smooth transition from family owned and managed businesses to next generation and existing management teams through to investor led acquisitions; helping the business owners to realise the strength and value of what they have created and maximize on the opportunity for the new leadership.
Martin has worked with a medium size US Corporate to successfully transition a number of UK based acquisitions, steering these businesses and the respective leadership teams in developing and implementing a strategy to integrate and grow the businesses.
He has a passion for creating value, focusing on a thorough assessment of a business and its activities from its core structure through to its sales pipeline, channels of distribution, cost base and most importantly the people at every level.
